My last day at Mexico City

I am back at my hometown, Ensenada, Mexico. I spent a week in Mexico City doing wonderful things, such as going to Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeek, meeting my friends, and going shopping. It's been a great week. This city inspires me so much. It is so big and so diverse, and there is so much to see, that a week isn't time enough.

My last day at Mexico city I went to the Zocalo, wich is the main touristic attraction, then we visited Palacio de Bellas Artes, this beautiful art school which is really really old. Then we went to a huge botanical garden, where you could find any plant in the existence of the universe.

I wore:

T-shirt: Maison Martin Margiela x H&M
Sweater: Vintage at Beyond Retro Stockholm
Velvet pants: Uniqlo
Shoes: Converse

H&M Maison Martin Margiela: launch party

H&M is launching their Maison Martin Margiela collaboration on Thursday. They threw a party for industry insiders here at their new store in Mexico City. I was lucky to get invited by my lovely friend Raúl, who is a style consultant at E! Latin America.

The party went awesome. I met really nice people and shopped some pieces from the new MMM for H&M collection.
Here I'm with my friend Jorge. He runs his blog called Factory Boy. It's pretty cool, check it out!

Keep it popping @ Mexico City

I am at Mexico City! I was invited by Mercedes Benz to MB Fashion Week Mexico. At first I thought, "Well I don't know any Mexican Designer, It would be a great opportunity to get to know them and support my Country". To be honest, I've been amazed by how developed the Fashion Industry is here. I had no idea that there were so many Mexican cool designers. I'm gonna be doing some posts later about their work.

This was the second day of MBFW. The first day I wore something pretty boring. So this day I decided to go a bit out of the box. I'm wearing:

Shirt: Topman
Jeans: Uniqlo
Cap: H&M
Bag: Cambridge Satchel
Sneakers: Vans by KENZO

Stripes & Yellow

It's now getting chilly here in Ensenada, and I love it!. I get to wear my favorite clothing piece ever: sweaters. So I took a walk at the beach sidewalk and snapped some photos.

Today was a great day, I picked several outfits and styled them for a photo-shoot we have tomorrow at the clothing store I work at. They are fierce! I hope everything goes perfect.

When I got these pants, I wasn't so sure of the color, it seemed too bright. But now I'm loving them, and everybody seems to love them too. I think mustard yellow and burgundy go great together.

What am I wearing?
Shirt: Cotton On
Sweater: Forever 21
Pants: H&M
Shoes: Vans
Cap: Forever 21

H&M llega a México

The wait is over. The Swedish powerful fashion brand H&M opens their first flagship store in Mexico this November 1st. at the "Centro Comercial Santa Fe" in the Santa Fe area in the City. This will be a three story store with a 4,200 square meter space, offering women's, men's, children, accessories, and many other products. H&M is known for offering the latest trends at a very affordable price.

I think Mexico needed this. There are not so many options for us, and we have to travel to other countries to get the stuff we want. Now we have it here, available and on time. The only question is: Will Mexicans know how to style these clothes? We'll see

Roof Top

Lately, I've been obsessed with short sleeve printed shirts. Specially the ones with dorky prints, those are my favorite. I got this shirt at a flea market in LA. It was super big, but I made it smaller so it could fit. I also got two other printed shirt, which I'll be posting about later. The nice weather is about to disappear, so we better wear our shorts while we can.

Shirt: Vintage
Shorts: H&M
Shoes: Vans
